“My new home in Delaware, just two hours south of NYC is a laboratory for my
creative ideas. I spend weekends hunting for antiques, treasures and junk with
potential and try incorporating things into my space. I love moving things around,
trying new pieces and playing with color, pattern and texture to create a layered,
authentic look.”

“I moved into my boyfriend’s London mews house at the start of the pandemic,
and we have very different tastes; I love an eclectic mix of colour and print and
make quick, enthusiastic (and sometimes regrettable) decisions, whilst he is far
more traditional, and thankfully considered with his choices. This makes for a
good balance, but decisions inevitably take more time. I love these strong and
impactful rugs, and I feel once we decided on one, everything else eventually fell
into place from the floor up.”

“Our homes are our refuge, and a true extension of one’s taste and point of
view. I’ve always been someone who loves juxtaposition. Creating just the
perfect amount of tension within a space while mixing old and new, modern and
traditional. As a creative, I gravitate towards a neutral palette while focusing
heavily on texture, composition, and form. This has always allowed me to
effectively layer a space so that it feels collected but not overwhelmed.”

“For my home I prefer for everything to be calm, warm, cosy, stylishly chic. I am
friends with a number of artists and designers and often have pieces framed of
the sketches for projects we’ve worked on such as Manolo Blahnik, Herzog de
Meuron and Zaha Hadid. I think it’s important for your place to tell a story about
you whether it’s your favourite colors or artwork even the objects you found
and purchased; everything has a story. People often come over and ask about
it. What’s ultimately importantly is that it’s unique, yours and you feel 100%
comfortable.”
Nathan Rollinson

“I thrive on exploring my stylistic cravings; an uber chic and classic, everevolving
mix of sophisticated and playful style. I’ve always preferred traditional
designs inspired by 18th and 19th-century European décor that merge within a
contemporary flair.”
